Dennis Houchin has spent more than four decades examining systems, identifying weaknesses, and developing practical responses to complex problems. He founded Ad Hoc Information Systems in 1994 and built a career in information technology, cybersecurity, consulting, and education.

That analytical discipline later expanded into writing about achievement, creativity, moral formation, faith, and responsibility. His books reflect a consistent concern with helping readers think clearly, act deliberately, and become more than they believed possible.

Now retired from professional consulting, he writes as an author and educator. The Path of Light is his seven-work exploration of Christian wisdom, Stoic discipline, and the formation of the inner life.
